I will be getting my first OS-X capable Apple next week. It's an iBook with all the trimmings. I wanted to perhaps use it now and then from my bed either to remote control the PC, or just simply surf the web.
Doing this wireless would be great but I don't have a Wifi setup. The PC does have BT though and it supports networking via BT. Does the Mac have this capability? I don't want to get a WiFi setup now since I will be moving soon to a new appartment which has WiFi already installed. I figured that BlueTooth would be a good interim solution.
For high speed needs (transfering Video and Music files) I can use the normal 100MBit LAN, a Firewire linkup or even my external USB2 HDD. The slow Bluetooth Network would simply be for surfing the net and running the remote desktop app.
