Fatty has got his groove back. 14/19 games won since dusting off the cobwebs last weekend.

4 matches 4 wins tonight. K/D in order +13 +7 +16 +19.

Of course some lopsided matchmaking helped out.

Example:

Notice any disparity between the average rank of both teams? Even a man down it was an embarrassing ass-kicking.

Fatty O Ramas
MacNN Campaign run on Legendary
Volume One: Sierra 117, Crow's Nest, and Tsavo Highway

From left to right: Stogieman, Dakar, Fatty, Gold Brute.

Symmetrical fighting from Stogie and I. This hangar just happens to be a real annoyance to defend.

Dakar and his AI driver soldier ahead with Fatty driving Stogie not far behind.

So, stogie what happened to ya on that last campaign mission? Got sick of playing?

Anywhere, here's a link to my Achievement run on the first mission. I'm sure you can do it yourself, since I blew the score out of the water. Note that I did it on normal. (And if you look at the next couple games, you can probably get your achievements for the first 4 missions in total)

I have to say, the multi isn't exactly suckering me back in. I'd love to see Master Chief and Bill get into a foot-race. But still, I'm up for helping Fatty finish off his campaign. I need the skull and meta-game on the Flood level anyway, yet.

Yes. Literally. I started to feel nauseous during the Scarab level. By the time we got to the flood level, I had to make a run to the toilet. When I got back, you and sek had already finished the level and started a multi player match, so I decided to called it a night.

I blame the half bag of Hershey almond kisses I ate right before our meet up. Damn that Valentines day candy and it's 50% discounted price! I will say this, that was probably my most pleasant vomiting experience I've had to date. Everything tasted like chocolate as it came up.

Oh BTW sek, awesome Fatty-O-Ramas!

Slick shoes?! Are you crazy?!

I didn't really plan on finishing it, but I might as well shoot for that achievement. The next level is the huuge one, but probably the most fun since we'll all get Scorpions for the last area.

I'd also like to add that Fatty is currently dominating the points totals for the meta-games. Dakar and his GS be damned.

Current point totals
sek: 65139
Dakar: 42515
Stog: 28539

I'm sure Stogie would've fared better if he wasn't concentrating on forcing back chocolate vomit for the last two levels.

Alright, I was looking through Fatty's profile and looks like he only needs the last two levels for the Legendary achievement. So I say we do Ark (because it's damn fun, and so Fatty can get the meta-game achieve), but we skip Covenant. I think Ark will probably be all I play tonight, but the next time we meet-up, the dreaded Cortana (I need the damn skull, we all need the meta achieve). We could probably use a 4th person for that.

Also, we need a fourth person on that last level so we can get the Annual achievement in Ghosts. I'm telling ya we can do it. Boguesy, you're available on Thursdays... right? If not, I'm sure I can get my brother to join us.

Make sure you turn on the Catch skull when we're playing Cortana. There's only Flood so we don't have to worry about grenades.

Yep, I was researching that too. I have a bad feeling only a certain one of us will get the meta-game achievement for the level, though.

(And I hope someone remembers how to get the skull. It's been a while since I practiced)

It occurred to me that I never saved the video of our run through The Storm and Floodgates. So unfortunately I have to make up for lost panoramas.

First off, Stog and Fatty played a few matches after beating The Ark. One was Slayer on Construct where one of my teammates got his head in the way of my snipe. It went through his skull and continued to it's intended target, the other guy's skull.

..and now, with out further ado...

Fatty O Ramas
MacNN Campaign run on Legendary
Volume Two: The Ark

Stogie on the far left provides cover fire while Dakar looks ahead and Fatty runs away.

Fatty, Dakar, and Stogie running in line formation across...whatever the hell this structure is.

The grand finale battle against the Scarab. Dakar and Fatty ride in the Warthog (which is barely visible from this distance) while Stogie rocks the Scorpion (which is also barely visible.

Last but not least...and obviously not a panorama...

Dakar and Stogie in the Prowler, unaware of Fatty's acrobatics above.

Uh, so nice of stogie to get the achievement I was aiming for after I lag out during the host migration.

That picture is bungie worthy. You should send it to them. It's too bad the 360 doesn't draw all the carnage on the sand at that distance, as it looks barren/bland.

I'm pissed we didn't get you the meta achieve, but then again, what brigadier doesn't know how to kill a scarab efficiently with a Gauss gun? Psshhh.

I don't even know how I would go about sending it to them, but thanks, that's my favorite O rama thus far. It's funny that some parts of the level I wasn't even able to get above building height with the camera, and then at the end here the distance it allows the camera to go is almost ridiculous.

Actually, a buddy is going to be around tonight, and I was going to try to organize a L4D meet-up. I imagine things won't start until after 8. But after L4D, if Boguesy is still around I could do some Halo (maybe).

Orbital has a disgusting amount of detail, and Sandbox, how they fit an entire grifball arena underground on top of that map is amazing (not to mention the skybox)
