It might be where you are from, but where I come from, they speak English.
Other words that are not generally considered words that you might use on a daily basis:
Goddang
F'inggators
Porchbeer
Goddang
Springertime
Myma'struck
Mytruck
Mysis'truck
Goddang
All said as one word.

I agree. I didn’t know they’d started speaking Greenlandic in South Africa.

So what was the point of this thread again? It seemed to de-evolve to a slapfest between calverson and mastrap?
Talk about derailing.

Correction. It culminated to a slapfest. It started out quite boring actually.

Yeah, speaking of filters, that's my least favorite one.

How bad of a problem is this even?
Or is the filter doing its job so I don't know how bad it really is?

For some reason, this thread inspired me to dig up and read the infamous 16 Chapel thread.
Good times, good times.

No, "siddown" was intentional and just phonetically spelled.

Hmmm... Please, lets not escalate this into something that is does not need to be.
So, back on topic, MAC should be Mac, Imac to iMac, Macbook to MacBook, etc?

There were several instances of correct apostrophe usage with one incorrect usage. I was led to believe that the incorrect usage was unintentional.

Of course you'd say that. I wasn't calling out your worthless post, but your hypocrisy. And we're both continuing to post worthlessly, but only one of us supposedly cares about it.

The censor filter removes things, or stars them out. vB does have a word-replace feature, but warns it can be server-intensive if enabled. The help files forget to mention the clbuttic problem.
We use the censor, with about half the "words" being URLs for unsuitable places or goat pictures. It doesn't look like we'll be using the word-replace feature any time soon.

Here's an idea, any curse words that normally get starred out now get turned into MAC instead.

You're looking for punctuation, not white text.
