Also eagerly waiting for that one. Looks like it'll be good (though perhaps not Shaun good, if only because of the subject matter)

I'm sure it would be good, but I'd still love it if they made a third series of Spaced.

Looks awesome.
The Apple trailers show serious combing though.

Dunno which one you're looking at, but the 1080p trailer looks great here.

I was watching the 720p trailer. You can't see it easily in the shrunk image, but click on the bar to get the full 1280x720 pic.
Also, while it's less noticeable in the 1080p version, combing is still present in the 1080p version.

You're right, found the same frame and it does indeed have the same combing you posted in the 1080p screenshot. nothing particularly noticeable while playing, and nothinga s bad as the 720p screenshot you posted.

I noticed it in several shots.

Doesn't seem like it'll be close to Shaun of the Dead, humor-wise. Oh well :-\.

you have to remember Shaun of the Dead was epic.
Topping that would be an impressive feat

Just FYI, Hot Fuzz kicked major ass. I was laughing the entire movie. I had to watch it 3 times to get Spiderman 3 out of my head.
I loved all the subtle (and some not-so-subtle) Shaun of the Dead references.
Had one or two people tell me and my buddies to "shut the f*ck up" when it got to...
...just before Butterman was about to shoot his dad, and you totally saw the Point Break scene coming when he shoots his gun in the air and goes, "Aaaaaaaaah!" We were busting up as we saw the scene coming up, then it was pure chaos when he fired his gun in the air. Haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

Yeah, I liked it as well. Simon, Nick and Edgar (the director) have several video podcasts on iTunes, made during the filming. Pretty funny stuff.

I found the "What? You've never taken a shortcut before?" scene hilarious. Just how Butterman falls through the fence.
I'll be in the middle of something and that scene pops into my head and I laugh out loud.
Great movie.

Great movie.
And the face he makes when he's calling for the goose...

The first half is really good. It turns normalish after that. Could see the Point Break homage was coming a mile away. Timothy Dalton is wicked. He looks younger than Brosnan and still three times the Bond Daniel Craig could be.
