I've been running my G5 off a dual SATA raid stripe for a while now. I've had no problems whatsoever, and its nice having an extra fast volume. But now I'm thinking about upgrading to two more drives and making a four drive stripe. I need both the space, and a good 50MB/sec write speed. Before I set it up, I figured I'd see if anyone has ever used a 4 drive apple raid as their primary boot volume before? Just in case.

And please, no need to give me a talking to about the dangers of raid stripes. I fully understand that my odds of drive failure and data loss will be quadrupled. Four times a very small failure rate is still a pretty small number. I'll live.
