I have a new 15" Aluminum Powerbook. I haven't used the key illumination feature very much, but tonight I was having some problems with it. Even though I have the "turn off when computer is not used for" preference set to "never," the key illumination seems to turn off after a minute or so of inactivity. I've fiddled with the preferences for a bit, but to no avail. Any ideas?

if you want to turn off the keyboard illumination, press F8.
If you want to keep them on, make sure your in a dark area and press F9 and F10 to adjust settings
