Is it just me, or is this guy making it sound like Nintendo is going to get a lot more aggressive than they have been?

They said the same thing with the GameCube though. And we all saw how that one turned out.

I can't hear but Nintendo said a week ago that LOT of fans will be REALLY happy with the direction Nintendo is going right now. This time, they're going to listen to fans

Yeah, nothing against Nintendo, but they have, for several years now, put on a good show at E3 but failed to deliver in sales.

GameCube:
1) Will use DVD's because they are "listning to fans"
2) Will have online play because they are "listning to fans"
3) Will have mature games because they are "listning to fans"
4) Will have a huge selection of games.
5) Developers will LOVE developing for this system.
So what happened?

Wait, is this on the current webcast as an update to the GameCube? Or is this what was said years ago at a previous E3?

He just showed Metriod for DS. Horribly implemented. The biggest innovation for the second screen is what everyone guessed... a boring MAP.
He said you can also tap the screen where you want to shoot. Awkward.

Ya I know, I was telling you in a nice way.
Anywho, the DS has voice recognition for games. "So only your voice can control the game." Thank god, imaging what would happen if my sister yelled Fire or jump from the other room.

Nintendo totally came through. The DS sounds awesome. The potential things developers will do with it.... Wow. And seeing that Metroid DS did it for me.
And Zelda. Just ... wow. Miyamoto really pulled the wool over our eyes.
I'm spent.

Dude, better than the demo. The environments, models, lighting, and texture work looked great, even from a crappy webcast. You have to see him in environments, instead of up close with Ganondorf like the SW demo.

i am just scared of 2 things.
1) Last minute they change the look of Zelda like they did last time.
2) the Game gets pushed back so much they decide to wait for the next system to make it a launch title. Like that last starfox game.

what are you talking about? they previewed the superphotorealistic Zelda like, 3 years before WW came out, then the next year they showed us the cell-shaded Zelda. The year after that they showed us a revised cell-shaded Zelda.
