I just uninstalled my HP printer driver and noticed I'm not able to set the default printer in OSX 10.7.5 to print as PDF. I know I can click on the PDF button on the bottom-left of the print dialog and select "Save as PDF" but that's way too many clicks, is there a way I can have the Print button on the borrom-right print right to PDF short of installing Adobe Acrobat? Thanks.

Probably not.

But I'm thinking you may be able to easily build an Automater script and assign a global shortkey to that (or just keep that on the dock).

Don't see any options in Automator to save as PDF, print as PDF, etc. Same thing in Keyboard Maestro... I think I need a CUPS print to pdf printer driver but don't see one.

Thanks.
