Hi,
Stupid question here. In my canvas screen I have a green cirlcle with a checkmark in the top center of the screen. How do I get rid of it?? What is it??

I can't find anything in the manual or FCP help. As you can tell by now, I JUST got the program....WOW!!!....loving it to death, but completely clueless.

FCP 3, by the way.

Thanks!

That's the Range Check icon you're seeing. FCP can tell you whether your image is chroma and luma safe or not. Go to "View -> Range Check" to turn it off.
