As stated on subject, the fan in my PBG4 runs at max speed from the laptop starts. I have tried to reset NVRAM, PRAM, PMU, but no luck. The laptop is not hot at all.

Is there any idea about this case?

Thank you.

Welcome to the forums!

Which Powerbook G4? Which OS? Any programs set as login items to run at startup? Any programs in Activity Monitor showing high CPU usage (click the "% CPU" column to organize running processes by CPU usage)?

Steve,

Thank you.
When saying startup, I mean from the power is on. Whenever I press power button, the fan starts max speed.

My PBG4 is 12-inch, DVI. OS is Tiger 10.4.11. I have checked in Activity Monitor, but all seems normal. In fact, it's working fine before. The fan is just going crazy few days ago.

What should I do now?
