Wet road, aquaplane, van, trees. Ouch.

Another first for the Brits!!

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

Looks like it was a pretty ugly car to begin with.

Ugly is ok when you pass sexy cars doing 250mph (top speed of the Bugatti)

Bah, the front's just mangled. Whomever bought the car probably has the money to have it repaired, or just buy another.

I consider "low speed" 35 mph and less. That's probably because I totaled my dad's car going only 40 mph five days after I got my license. I'm at nine years wreck-free now. *knock on wood*

Well, its a bit relative. 55 in a sportscar like that seems like a low speed.

Well, yeah. But I'm not talking about perception, I'm talking about actual speed. A better built car would certainly hold up better running 40 mph into a brick wall, but it would still do a ton of damage.

Well, I think it does have a bit of that "Disco Volante" ugliness to it, don't you think?

If you recall in the film the smaller bow portion of the yacht separates from the stern end and leaves it behind as the smaller vessel speeds away from danger.

In this case the small bow end of the car suffered the damage with the ugly rear end still attached.

Except the bugatti is the best supercar in the world by a large margin, representing the ultimate in performance and abilities, and your durango is a slow piece of **** that can't handle or brake purchased by people who are trying to avoid minivans. Other than that its exactly the same.

Something I never understand was why do car owners care if their top speed is 200mph when they can never do more than 90 on the road ways??

1. You can go a lot more than 90 on the roadways, especially out in sparsely populated areas.

2. If a car is capable of 200mph, then it's probably very fast to half that speed. It's more of what the car is capable of doing and how it translates to everyday driving.

It's so little boys can drool at each other in the playground. A bit like a real-life game of "Top Trumps".

If I had a sportcar, I'd be doing those races in the desert. I might not hit 200, but I'd be going over 150.

bummer about the car, but i bet they have the cash to make all beter. other wise they shouldn't have had it in the first place.

OTOH
a Volvo 940 with a LS1/LT1 conversion kit is the best super car in the world, hands down.

Guess you're authorities aren't all over like in Canada. You do over 80 km/hr on a backroad, you're sure to be caught. Even in 'sparsely' populated areas. trust me, friends have been caught on most occasions. Good ol' reserve police

After looking at the picture I think that car got a glimpse of its reflection and tried to commit suicide…
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

the engine is in the back so you would think that it would be very fixable.

Yeah it is a very nice car, i prefer it with a black body though with the coloured panels. The white and silver one doesn't look right.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

So can a person not be interested in racing or motorsports or tinkering or Ferraris or Lamborghinis or SRT Dodges or whatever? Adrenaline-fueled blasts to 150mph, braking hard, making a turn and doing it all over again and again? You gotta have a little dick or be a short guy??

I never understood people's stance on this. I love fast cars, I'm 6' tall and I have an awesome cøck.

Oh dear. I seriously covet the Bugatti Veyron. I wonder what the repair bill will look like Wiki says - Repairs and service at Bentley dealerships (handy, there's one a couple of miles from me), requires flown in mechanic... If only I had the means...

At First the monster W16 engine (quad-turbocharged) provided over 1000 horsepower, but the thing kept shredding VW 7 speed trannys so they dialed it back to 900 or so.

What is it with people and mis-naming vehicles lately?

First the Grand Cherokee was a car, now the Bugatti Veyron is a car?

It's a supercar, big difference. Fast cars go 170, supercars go 250.

Plus, if you drove your Durango like you would the Bugatti I'm not so sure your gas mileage claim would stick.

But it's impossible to get the Durango's milage no matter how you drive in the Bugatti.

Right and right, and d'oh.

But nevertheless a Bugatti is made to be a purists race car, the Durango getting better mileage than it is a moot point.

No they're not. Purists' race cars don't have awd. They're designed to be the ace of spades of the Top Trumps world.

Oh, and a Maclaren would blow it as soon as you got off the interstates, since Bugattis don't tend to handle very well (they're a bit isolated, no seat of the pants feedback).
