5 examples of 5 gone bad...

...and one example of 5 done right.

( Last edited by Jawbone54; Aug 18, 2008 at 11:45 AM. Reason: FIXED! Missed the fact that my quick Google Image search for the Spice Girls resulted in some fakes, apparently.)

Seconded.

Never heard of them, and I have never heard either of those songs. Doesn't sound like I missed too much.

In their native U.K., "Keep On Movin'," a cover of "We Will Rock You," and "Let's Dance" (not the Bowie song) all went to #1.

Here in the U.S., they were a bonafide one-hit wonder. "When the Lights Go Out" peaked at #10 while their next biggest "hit" topped out at #53.

Yes, I looked all that up on Wikipedia. No, that's not as scary as the fact every single they released in the U.K. hit the top 10.

No clue. Spice Girl impersonators?

Or is that a new lineup? No idea. My knowledge of the Spice Girls ends at the 50,000 times that I turned the radio off in disgust at the lyrics "Tell me what you want, what you really, really-"

Haaaaaa...

I actually didn't click off of that one. I never knew the correct lyrics (obviously), but that didn't stop me from screaming it out of my banged-up '93 Civic's window.

No diggity.

I don't think the Spice Girls "went bad." But I'm not necessarily talking about music or talent, either. Of course, Dr. Teeth ROCKS!

Heard at a Renaissance faire: "Hot salty rickshaw ride! On a stick! Five dollars!" I did not make that up.
