Apparently, that and another song ("If Ya Gettin' Down") went to #1 in New Zealand. In Australia, "If Ya Gettin' Down" and "When the Lights Go Out" share the highest peak at #2. In their native U.K., "Keep On Movin'," a cover of "We Will Rock You," and "Let's Dance" (not the Bowie song) all went to #1.

Here in the U.S., they were a bonafide one-hit wonder. "When the Lights Go Out" peaked at #10 while their next biggest "hit" topped out at #53.

Yes, I looked all that up on Wikipedia. No, that's not as scary as the fact every single they released in the U.K. hit the top 10.
