For those of you who are interested (and from what I've seen not many ), I hold a bracket challenge using The NBA.com's pick n' roll.

If anyone would like to participate I've created DakarLeague (password: dakar) to keep track of everyone from one spot (I do this on another forum so there should be some users from there as well).

Otherwise, feel free to use this thread for any other playoff discussion.

Thanks, and Good luck.

What can I say… the Celtics got a disgusting 33-49 record, terrible season…

A long time ago, 1979 the Cs got only 29 wins, then came 1980 and the Cs got a terrific 61 wins mark… how came that?, oh yes, Larry Bird & Co… I can not see anything like that coming sooner than later…

Yeah I feel bad for KG. He needs to let go of the guilt and ask for a trade.

Go Raps!

Seriously though, after a few seriously disappointing seasons, I'm liking the upside the Raptors have for the next couple years. Bosh is a freakin' kid with a monsterous upside, and Charlie V. was a top-3 rookie this year who looks like another 22-and-10 player. Mike James had a great year and should probably win the "most improved" award – whether he can keep it up is another thing – and they've got a young point guard in Calderon. Add in some good sixth-man potential like Pape Sow, Morris Peterson, Matt Bonner and Joey Graham, and you've got the room for maybe a trade or two. I'm cautiously optimistic, for once.

In other news, all I pray for this year's playoffs is for the Kobe to lose in the first round. That is all.

College basketball is great, but something happens to them when they get to the NBA and it becomes really boring.

I think its the length of the season. You win 50 and lose 32 and you've had a really good season. In college, every game has more importance.

Well, the Nets and their late-season slide are kinda starting to look like a little like they peaked slightly too early. Anyone heard what's going on with Carter?

Here's the play-by-play for the NBA playoffs.

Runs down the court... oooh slamdunk.
Runs down the court... oooh slamdunk.
Runs down the court... oooh... missed the 2 pointer.
Runs down the court... foul.

if the bulls win 2 games in the series vs the heat, ill consider them to have a successful season. nobody's gonna stop the 4 power houses from winning it all...

I know what you mean, but its a no-win situation. Unless you like to see guys miss when they get mugged.

Personally, I find ABCs game coverage laughable. I tried tuning in last Saturday at 3.3something, caught commercial,
checked back at 3.4something, found the game, watched for two minutes, time out called, commercial.
Go back two game-minutes elapse, dead-ball, official (TV) timeout.
Quarter finishes out, cut to break.
Two minutes go by in next quarter, time-out called, break.

ENOUGH ALREADY.

I agree, though I'd consider the Nets the Darkhorse of the league. The talent is there, Carter just needs to depussify and Kidd needs to find his J.
