Hi All,

I have a Mac with a couple of PC's at home, networked together via a router.

Now with my Windows 2000 box I can connect my Mac to the share by going to the Connect to Server and typing smb://...............

I can't seem to do it with my Windows ME or Windows XP box.

Is there anyway to share just a folder with the 2 OS's mentioned above? Even just to do simple drag & drop of files?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I haven't had any problems with XP, but usually I'll have to use the IP address instead of typing in the computer name -- Windows 98 I have had extensive problems with -- I can't get it to even connect to win2k or xp boxes.

Also, Jaguar and Panther have infinitely better smb implementations, and you would probably have better luck with those versions of OS X.
