I just wanted to give my approval to the new non -animated, simple, Mac based banner in the Lounge. However, in this 'post new thread' page there is some nasty flashing Juno ad, so I guess it isn't universal.

That's a shame.

I think there is some randomness in which on e is displayed. The nice one is actually courtesy of google. And, if you go to http://www.googlesyndication.com , non-americans can access the america n google instead of being forced to google.com.au etc.

Um, I came across this the other day. (don't worry, I saved the image and linked to it so no one makes money and no one has to see it unless they want to) I'd say it's the worst banner ad i've ever seen...it's so eye-hurty.

Yes, I really think this smiley is appropriate --> or maybe to shield one's eyes

Yeah I hate being forced to use google.com.au, it should try to make you do that

Yeah, I've seen a lot of ads that blink and/or claim I've won something. They are annoying.
