Call the police, she committed a crime. If you would have found a body or stolen goods; you would not have any problems reporting it. Why should you have a problem with kid's porn?

I doubt she knows anything about it. She wouldn't let a computer savvy person near it if she did.

How do we know someone didn't plant it there, eh?

Or she could be framing you.

Hehe.

Now *that* is an interesting thought.

Some guy got off free a couple of months ago because the prosecutor couldn't conclusively prove that the child pornography hadn't been placed on his machine through a security breach in Windows, which he argued.

Hmm.

I actually agree on that count. We've had kiddy porn on our computers because it somehow got on our e-mail. As soon as somebody discovered it, everybody paniced and was like, "DELETE DELETE DELETE!" So it could be she actually didn't know it was there. Though if it was in a place you easily found it, it seems unlikely she wouldn't have seen it, so it would have to have been placed there quite recently.

you know what to look for now... just observe... as soon as you think your colleague might turn her/his interest into practice, talk to both her/him as to her/his alleged 'victim'. If afterwards, you still feel uncomfortable with what you think you saw, consider going to the police.
These people are Americans. Don't expect anything meaningful or... uh... normalcy...

How underage is underage? I mean, did they look like teenagers close to an acceptable age or did they look like pre-teens? I'm just wondering cuz you say they were mostly thumbnails so it might be hard to tell.

I don't envy your situation. It's a difficult spot to be in for sure. However, if you truly believe this is real kiddie porn then you should report it. Tell us what happens.

women have the same urges as men (they just hide it more ) and I'm not really surprised that a woman would look at kiddie porn. doesnae really matter the sex of the viewer. i'm sure it probably is more guys, but women also look at porn, of all types. weird i know

oh, and what would being married have anything to do with it. i know a lot of married women who look at porn.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Didn't have to be her, but I wouldn't rule that out either.

Reported and answered about a billion questions, I might have to testify if it comes down to it which will suck as I wanted to stay out of it as much as possible.

She is divorced now 5 years or so and he lives in Ireland so I doubt it was him, the photo I saw looked about 5 or 6ish (a little older than my daughter) and the thumbnails looked about the same.

I shouldn't say any more about the situation, so this is my last post on this topic until I am advised otherwise.

Perhaps the mods should lock this thread?
