I dunno. Even a little more taste of eXec would be nice, though I'm waiting for it too.

No, but posting about postings that point out post whoring is clearly post whoring.

*sigh*

If you two insist on killing each other, do it via icq, or pm, or something. Just don't take it up in a perfectly usefull thread...

I am looking forward to these tthemes release. COTL Studios makes some really fine themes and they keep getting better. IStyle is one of my favorite themes to date.

Looking forward to good stuff

I wonder if ImDaMac is still alive

He hasn't dropped by in a while, should we be worried?

I don't want to sound too harsh, but I really hope that what the image shows isn't really the new eXec -- I hope for something more in the line of that X-Metal preview we had long time ago, but darker.

I believe the screen shot, However i think it's a case of 'same name' identity or 'same name rip-off'

This is NOT COTL's theme.. Just look at this one vs. any of his themes out, the quality of workmanship doesn't compare.. Unless I'm Da Mac has regressed into a 6 year old...

Man I hope that's not really it. If it is, it'll surely take its rightful seat at the "Throan of ugly themes."

From the Resexcellence site I got it from- "A homegrown desktop picture and the Executive Theme, currently in the development phase, debut in this submission from Yom. Both iTunes and Safari display partially implemented skins."

Hardly done folks...

I'm really suprised by this preview.. Knowing Rey (Imdamac), it would
be unusual from him to let unfinished themes snapshots go public..

Yeha, and I thought eXec was supposed to be a professional-looking theme...

That screenshot looks like 100% BS. And if it's not, then eXec will not be downloaded by a certain somebody.

That's because it's not a screenshot of the theme. It's a placeholder and it's not meant to show anything.

i ment the screenshot that demograph68 posted... i know that img i posted was a place holder, i posted it cause of what COTL described what eXec is going to look like as opposed to what demograph68 posted
i'm too lazy to come up with a sig

Ah

Either way, the screenshot of that horrible metal theme is obviously not Exec (thankfully).

i can guarantee that screenshot is not the exec theme that imdamac has on the go...however some elements seem to be very similar to KromeX...too similar.

I wonder if we'll see that elusive "Panther.icontainer" as an extra? I seriously doubt Hein is going to reopen his website........ One can only hope.

Yup! BTW, looks like many of the iStyle widgets are being recycled into this theme (not that that's a bad thing, of course!).

I'm really waiting for eXec though Just from that black metal piece on the Themes section of his site, it looks like it's gonna be an awfully kick-ass dark theme.

Heard from I'mDaMac and the theme issues:

"I havent really had the chance to visit the forums as much as Id like to recently but I can confirm that the screenshot from the link you sent is neither X-Metal or Exec. Not my work."
