Well I have found the first problem with my new Ti867: sometimes it won't play any sounds after waking up from sleep and I have to reboot to let make a sound again. It's a very strange bug IMO, iTunes doesn't even start to play. Anyone else with this problem ? and more important: someone with a solution ?

I recognized the same issue but not regularly (most of all after longer sleep periods) - check the Apple discussion board for more "victims".

There are at least 2 solutions to get the audio capabilities back _without_ restarting.

1) Close the lid and let it go to sleep for 2-3 seconds, then wake it up again!

2) Plug in a pair of headphones, then unplug it!

I used to have this problem. IIRC one of the OS upgrades fixed it. I'm running OS X 10.2.3.

I still have problems with sound not waking up with the machine, even in 10.2.3. Machine is a new TiBook 1ghz w/1gb of ram.

My solution is to hit the power button, sleep for two seconds, and re-awaken the machine. It always seems to come back then.

Haven't tried the headphone trick, maybe i'll do that next time.

I had this problem starting my computer sometimes. I never ran into it on awakening. I do have problems with it not waking sometimes. we will see if 10.2.3 fixes both problems. I just downloaded it.
