Hey, i have retail copies of ghost recon and warcraft iii. Are there any ways to play them without the cd on osx(on a tibook)? I know for pc's there are usually no-cd cracks available. Are there anything similar for macs?

As long as you've got the retail copy of the game no-CD cracks are legitimate. I use one for WC3 so I can play when I don't have my CD with me which is just about any time I want to play. The WC3 "crack" is really just making a small disk image containing a folder. Check versiontracker for it, I know it is still there somewhere. I don't know about Ghost Recon but that is what Google is for. Use it and love it.

Hi!
You can find them with a filesharing program like Acquisition.

If you can find a krack, try making a disk image and mounting it when you want to play.

I've always played my games from images. I hardly ever use CDs.

Disc images don't always work. There are a few games out there that won't be tricked by any kind of disk image, including Disk Copy and Toast disk images.
