Thinking about doing another theme. Won't start until I finish my first. but Just curious if this was worth the effort, there are bunches of light glossy hard candy coated themes already. Letz me knows.

only 2 things i would recommend..
1 - offer hi-light variants like NetworkShadow mentioned.
2 - i don't like the small round button. should make it more of a hi-light than a solid squarish orange dot.

That window titlebar is killer, but the rest could use some work. I like the concept you have with the widgets, and I think you should apply that to the buttons and other elements as well.

Beta testing? Sign me up!

EDIT: Also, I love the low-profile dark grey text.

That looks good. A couple of suggestions:
Can you make one brighter, or at least give us some AA like colors
Sunken widgets?
OH yeah, once you fix that Apple in the o left, try using the Theme Preview to show us a good preview. And maybe use a regular font when doing that.

My two cents:

1. Slightly higher contrast.
2. The orange highlight looks awesome. Have that soft hue pop up around the theme.
3. The progress bar is somewhat bland.. it needs to stand out more, especially so one can see the progress at a glance. Perhaps use that nice orange shadow? The higher contrast will help here as well.
4. I would think some awesome, subtle animations for the progress bar or the default button could come from that orange highlight.
5. Along the subtle orange thing, perhaps soften the highlighted small round button.

Great job though, it looks excellent. The grey text is good.

What if the sunken window control widgets had a slight colored shadow too(inside the sunken part)?

I'll second the higher contrast request (maybe a darker gray overall, but not darker buttons alone) The orange glow rocks. However, how 'bout adding an inner glow to glowing orange elements. Heck, you could just use an outer glow and inner glow for the clicked states and then inner glow only for default states (default push button). This definitely shows promise...the elements look like bits of seamless glass on top of the window's surface to me; excellent idea!

My only suggestion would be to make it sharper and not too soft like it is right now. Or as others said, more contrast...

Wow, thi sis looking awesome. I agree that there should be a bit more contrast, but not too much. But maybe changing the font to the default Lucida Grande will be different for the text contrast.

And for the orange, I'd say definitely don't overuse it. I like what you do have with the orange right now, but maybe add it only to items on clickdown.

Oh, and I'd love to help out in beta testing, but it looks like you've got plenty of volunteers already.

Yeah, I posted this preview just to see if this was worth making. But I won't start until i finish Cathode which is still Beta. Depending on feedback from testers, I hope to release soon.

Wow, didn't realize you're the guy making Cathode too... This is awesome! Why didn't you get into theming earlier?

You've got some great talent though. Glad to see you busy with those themes!
