How do I recover my PW ?

I use MacNN on Firefox, and it remembers my PW

but I cant remember it and would like to move MacNN to safari

and would need the PW

On firefox, can you go to your profile? From there you can reset your password to something you remember and put it into Safari.

In vB, passwords are stored salted and hashed. We don't have the plaintext passwords. As others have said, you can:

... see if Firefox stores your pw in keychain.
... use Firefox to set a new pw on your account.
... ask us to set you a new pw.

If it is saved in Firefox, go to Options -> Security, click "Saved Logins" and then "Show Passwords".
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

In Firefox, go to Preferences. Under that, go to Security. Select Saved Logins. Filter the results for MacNN. Now select Show Passwords.
