Those on the left that claim Bush meant that we were done with Iraq and it was finished when he said "Mission Accomplished" are being intellectually dishonest.
They either don't know what he said in said speech, or do, and simply are too stubborn or prideful to admit they were wrong.
For example, in the SAME speech that he claimed "Mission Accomplished" Bush said this.
We have difficult work to do in Iraq. We are bringing order to parts of that country that remain dangerous. We are pursuing and finding leaders of the old regime, who will be held to account for their crimes.
Now tell me, if he believed that it was done, why did he say we had more work to do?
