I'm wondering if anyone's picked up on this:

What's going on?

Is it safe to travel?

Or has the political climate of the United States radicalized Steve to create a strange turtleneck/army shirt hybrid?

Create your own theory here.

Well, his rather significant weight loss over the past couple of years has made him look somewhat thin and sickly in the turtleneck. Remember how everyone was complaining about his looks in the last keynote? That turtleneck looked too loose and baggy, and it was accentuating both a boney frame as well as some unflattering chest lines.

Notice how in an oxford shirt gives him a more "well-built" look, even though he's about as thin as last time we saw him.

That is a really ugly shirt on top of it. The collar is practically acting like a turtleneck it is so big.

If he's so fine why are they making it a point to let everyone know that he's fine?

People don't just get thin and change from turtlenecks to dress shirts for no reason.

It's clear he's been using - he swiched to the buttoned shirt with buttoned up sleaves to make sure he hid his track marks. He has a tendancy to push up those turtlenecks' sleeves you know.

I think I figured it out. His turtleneck is correlated directly to the Aqua interface.

The new shirt is correlated to the new iTunes user interface.

Workable theory?

He's making it a point to say he's OK because the rest of us are speculating that he has to be sick. If none of us were speculating over his health he wouldn't have to make a point of it.

I think it looks rather dashing, and a bit more age appropriate.

And he is definately looking and moving less "tired" than he did last time. I never fell for the sick thing, I think last time he was just exhausted. He's no spring chicken anymore, but still a handsome vital man. Yes, I'm a fag who has had a little crush on steve for decades...

He looks alright, but I agree that the collar is too big. I, too, am relieved that he is at least wearing jeans and that the shirt is black.

Lets look at this in a different way, Apples slogan is/was "Think Different". Many people got a Mac instead of a PC and Windows, Steve followed it and got a new shirt

He did end up rolling his sleeves up this time as well... I'll have to look a little closer for those track marks...

Hahaha, I agree with jawbone, a belt would have set off the dress shirt nicely.

Any of you guys remember MacWorld from 1986, or 1985 - can't seem to remember. Jobs was wearing a tux!

I think this is step one, next step will be the belt, then dress pants, maybe some dress shoes... finally, his resign as CEO of Apple Cooperation Inc.

I must say, aside from his dramatic weight loss, he is aging gracefully. His wardrobe is fine, its understated and tasteful.

And just be happy we don't have to put up with the likes of this cornball every keynote:

Steve Ballmer is the worst person to present anything. I hope he unveils the Zune... he'll most likely get too much sweat on it and it will short circuit ( probably will anyway

Totally. He scares the **** out of me and I think he is the personification of Microsoft to the last detail.

Fat, sweaty, nobody finds it attractive and is annoying as hell.
