I have my DSL modem connected to my iMac and I have an Airport Express in another room. I want to share my net connection to my laptop but I also want to get Airtunes in the other room. I can't seem to set this up. What do I have to do?

Let me get this straight: you want the Airport Express to PICK up the WLAN signal from the iMac, and then output it via ethernet to a connected laptop ?
I don't think the AE is wired that way. Ethernet can only be used to FEED the AE.

No, the iMac is putting out the wireless internet signal to the laptop, but it's also serving out to the AE for AirTunes. I can get one or the other to work but not both at the same time. As soon as I turn on Internet Sharing then the iMac can't find the AE, hence no AirTunes.

Ok, now I understand.
So you are trying to run the iMac as an Access Point for the laptop, AND use it with AE AirTunes.
I'm not sure if it can be done. Since I don't have an AE, I can't test that.
