My ma is driving me nuts with computer questions, and its impossible to answer them with out seeing her computer screen (she has a hard time even creating a new folder!). I'm on a Mac, she is on a PC. If we use LogMeIn free version, will she be able to watch her screen and see what I am doing to her computer? In other words, if I need to show her how to attach a picture to an email, if I LogMeIn to her PC from my Mac will she see it happen on her screen as I do it here on my Mac?

Thanks

Yes, she will see exactly what you're doing, unless the 'blank screen' option somehow gets set. Be careful to check that the 'lock computer when you log out' checkbox isn't checked, that'll probably baffle her.

Great, thanks guys...

One more question, will it work if she is on dial-up? She will be in front of the machine, and will be able to dial in and have the machine connected before we start.

Yes and no.

It should work, but dial-up is gonna be a bitch when it comes to screen refreshes. It's gonna be SLOOOOOWWWWWWWW.

YMMV.
