I'm attmpting to use 2 monitors to create an extended desktop mainly for photo editing and final cut pro. I have a power mac g4 867mhz with 1.5 gb ram with os 3.9. There is a nvidia gforce 2mx video card. The monitor window on my mac does not show an arrangement option nor is there extend resolution in the resolution window. The mac dealer told me that my only option was to get a g5. Could a radeon 9000 agp card solve my problem? Or any other ideas would be apprciated.... thx- philippe

"The mac dealer told me that my only option was to get a g5."

Surprising !!! Probably has an old 1.6 he needs to unload. Truth is, MOST Mac cards supported two monitors. GF2 was unique in LACK of support for this.

Either get a PCI card (7000 or 9200) or just about any new AGP card has dual monitor support, 9000 included.
