My PB 17" arrives today. For the past three months I have been collecting gear, bag, sleeve, locks, software, memory, T68i, etc. . . but I still don't understand why the bluetooth devices are non-existent. Cordless, yes. Bluetooth, NO!

And before I read all the posts about the bluetooth mice that exist, let me explain that I have been using a Trackman Marble for years and I love it. I have very precise control in my graphic programs and it is very ergonomic.

So if there are any rumours to be had about bluetooth trackballs let them fly. I'd even use micro$oft's trackball if it were bluetooth.

Besides I justed wanted to vent.

The tribulations of the early adopters!!

I too have been looking for a trackball solution for my new PowerBook. Bluetooth would be nice, something small would work for me as wellso that it easily fits in my backpack.

I know what you're talking about, because I went through a simmilar pain with USB! (Back when I was a naieve PC user, and before the Macs had USB built in.) I remember actively seeking (and not finding) satisfactory USB... anything! To this day, I haven't found anything that works half as well as my beloved PS/2 Logitech Trackman FX! But take heart; as soon as Apple adopted USB, it took off like a rocket. Here's to hoping the same happens with Bluetooth.
