Don't do it - I bought one the day it came out in the UK, and had it up for sale again within a few hours. Lost nearly half its cost. Novelty soon wears off.

Its primary function seems to be to drive innocent shop assistants insane with an incredibly annoying demo mode incessantly triggered by passing customers.

Saw that thing 2 days ago in a local store; ugly as hell and a lot more expensive.

Butters:
He can do anything I command him to. He's real smart. Watch this: hey AWESOM-O, will you go get my friends some Sunny Delight?

Cartman:
Yes, of course.

Kyle:
Oh wait. Hey AWESOM-O, I'd also like some celery sticks chopped up two inches long, with peanut butter and raisins on top.

Cartman:
Suck mah balls, Kyle.

Butters:
He's made in Japan!

Yeah, when I saw your post, I was confused and thought the QRIO was $99. You should have seen how excited I was.

Robosapian is cool, but I'll pass.

I think I heard QRIO was as much as a high end car - go figure. I can't afford an Aibo either.

They've had a lot of these in tech shops I've been to - all they do is waddle around and wave their arms about.

When I was like 16 I entered a contest to win one of these...and actually won the smaller/cheaper version. It was the sh*t.
