This *was* a very great theme, the first theme I ever used, and I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened to it. I remember it was ported to 10.2 and posted on ResExcellence, and then removed for unknown reasons.

Zimphire is the maker of that once famous theme. He never updated it for Jaguar and when someone else did he had it taken down. There's a few other themes that look kindof like it on resexcellence.com though.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

We will see.

There are a few attempts at making classic like theme, or classic ports, but none if them had that same coloration and tone as sosumi, that drove me in 10.2 to download themepark and make an extremely crude port. All I really did was turn the back button around, but hey, it was my first theming experience. I would've submitted it to resexcellence, but I thought that the other one must've been taken down for some reason. That, and I would have been laughed at for the crudeness. Please port it... >.< I loved that theme! I still try to keep it alive on my OS9-running G3 imac....

Ditto, except for the *was* part; Sosumi is still an amazing theme. It really is THE modern look of platinum. Dont think so? Have a look through some of the frameworks in the OSX Public Beta system.

I don't have a copy... could you please post a shot of what you mean?

Oh, and when I said "was" I was referring to how I can't use it anymore.

Picture below inserted for "trip-down-memory-lane" purposes

I'd go back to Sosumi any day

My Public Beta disc is in storage right now but I was referring to the fact that there is a framework which includes much of the elements that make up Sosumi. Just like there is the ProAppKit framework which contains elements for FCP and stuff. Although the framework with all the Sosumi elements was removed after the PB.

What an nice theme! And you can still use today! (ShapeShifter 1.0.1 converts 10.1 themes afaik)
Note: I wrote this post so people will realize they can still use it with ShapeShifter.
Note 2: When will those product naming people get their spacebar fixed?
I, myself, use Rhapsodized from Max. It's 10.2-designed so far, but ShapeShifter lets me use it in 10.3.

I've been working on it. That obnoxious title bar is gone though. Something a bit more subtle replaced it.
