This morning I was cruising eBay when I stumbled accross this gem of an auction.

Now, putting a G4 in a clear case has been done before so that part isn't particularly unique. What is unique is the fact that the he custom built the case from scratch, cutting each piece with a laser cutter.

I also find the laser engravings he did, such as the Apple logo on the front and the word Macintosh accross the side, to be very spiffy.

The PC world has been doing this for years.. its nice to see it in a mac.
Though i did see some one take all the color off of a Quicksilver G4 and that looked SWEEET!

I'm not a big fan of clear cases but the detail work on that one is incredible.

wow. that is impressive.

I've been wanting to mount a Mac in a custom-built plexiglass case for a while, but that one would puts to shame my measly plans.
