It seems to me that every day CNET has a story about the newest iPod killer, be it portable satellite radio, the PSP, or some ugly rip-off mp3 player. How much money are all of the companies associated with these halfbaked products pumping up these guys asses to keep these stories coming!?

they call them iPod killers because that makes people read the article. If the review was titled "satellite radio mobile player - sucks compared to your iPod" do you really think anybody would read it?

The only iPod not rated with a 9 rating is the Shuffle. It's their favorite mp3 player by far.

Exactly. They love the iPod. If you look at all their reviews, they are all rated near a 9, except the Shuffle and they name it the best hard drive player and best small hard drive player.
