Just curious what you do for a living, and what projects are currently keeping you busy. ("you" as in who ever is reading this).

I'm an analyst by trade (no excitement there!), but my current project is transferring a bunch of old live videotape footage to MPEG and archiving them on CDs. I'm using iMovie (for capture), SoundSculptor II (for audio processing), QuickTime Pro (for extracting/adding audio and to preview the video), and Astarte M. Pack to prepare the MPEG files.

It's fun, in a geeky kind of way.

I'm a sophomore in college. So, my occupation is student. Haha. Current projects I'm working on is documenting the various exploits of me and my friends throughout the school year. Nothing serious, just having fun. I use iMovie (which sucks), but hope to upgrade to FCP by Christmas. I have Canon's new Elura2 MC which I'm quite happy with.

i'm am now a MIS technician for a Wash, DC law firm. I, unfortunately, no longer do any video projects for my job, but it's still a huge hobby! I am currently brushing up on After Effects, and just started learning FCP!

I use iMovie 1 to make some of our home videos more amusing and help my adolescent kids make music videos. I plan to move up to iMovie 2 or EditDV soon.

In my other life I'm an engineer at a pharmaceutical research co., where we occasionally use Premiere to capture high speed video for fluidics research.

I'm a senior in college during the summer i work as a salesman for an Apple Specialist store in Florida. It's cool because i get to play with all the new toys.
Right now i am editing footage from my summer travels on my powerbook 500 and FCP. I'm still learning FCP. I'm going to post it on a website or something. Over Christmas i might get to make a commerical for the store i work for using a GL1 and FC on a dual 500, FUN. The owner just made the first one last night. Whats cool is that the cable company just wants a QT version of the ad, (i guess in dv NTSC format, I'm not sure since i'm not there)burned onto a CD. Digital is cool.

I'm doing an animated cartoon for a children's hospital - how to avoid asthma attacks.

I'm doing it in Flash (a blessing and a curse) but it's jumpy in playback so I'm rendering the scenes into Quicktime and using that as test dailies. If everything goes as planed I may even be able to just stitch the whole thing together in iMovie as an offline edit.
