I installed it last night and I think it's pretty nifty so far. Some of the transitions looked choppy, but it's still beta so whatever. Looks like a great start though.

when it's going in the itunes window, it looks fine, but when i go to full screen it looks like it goes to 16-bit color or something. it looks awful.

I'll be impressed when someone ports an Open GL version of Space Harrier to iTunes and syncs the motions of the attacking dragons and fireballs to music.

It seems to use pixel doubling by default in full screen.

You can get around this by switching to Coverflow mode and hitting Command-F to go to full screen. Then hit Command-T to switch on the visualiser - this will trick it into full res…

I like this screensaver very much! I don't have any issue in terms of the full screen visuals but I tried your method and the visuals don't turn on in the order you mentioned. Through key commands I can switch on the visuals from Coverflow but I can't switch them on if Coverflow is already in full screen. I don't see any difference in the quality of the visuals either normal or full screen.

Thanks!

This was bothering me...

It's annoying that it has to be done that way every time, though, and that CoverFlow won't work afterwards until you switch to a different view and then back...

Of course, these things are to be expected from a 0.1b release.

Not on my computer! Command-T does not work if coverflow is in fullscreen!
