2 thoughts: One cheaper than the other. I've done both and they worked out..
1.) Get tickets to a show- play/musical. Pick up a nice outfit for him. Send a limo to pick him up at work. The chauffer gives him the outfit, has him change and get in the limo. Either you are there- or better- they pick you up next . You're dressed nice too. You get in give the tix... drive to the show and reap the rewards...
2.) Buy a spice rack. Draw out- or make on the computer - a sheet of paper that says "You are the Spice of my life" with pretty little pictures- cut it up into puzzle pieces. Place one inside each spice jar. They open one at a time and put the puzzle together. On the last one or somewhere else- have them look on the bottom. There- taped is a ring, a pendant, an earring- whatever. Again- reap the rewards..
How's that?

take her on the London eye if you get a chance, great views if the weather is good.

hah!!! Yes, she's an avid runner and does it each day. She's VERY in shape and not overweight in the least (she puts me to shame and I'm not large either). She's been hinting at wanting a Shuffle bad b/c she's currently using the 2nd gen. 10GB iPod I gave her awhile back after I got a 3rd gen. (no, I didn't give her a "used gift", I just one day handed it to her and she loved it). And she has WAY more than 1GB will hold and a mini + an arm band will do great on a treadmill and allow her to hold 4GB + use an LCD + have an engraving on the back, so she'll be a very happy lady.

I don't care much for Valentine's. Maybe. But I don't know if I'll ever see her again. I slipped through my own fingers.

My girlfriend's in Australia over the Chinese new year holiday so Interflora won this one.
Bunch of roses and a bottle of bubbly (Australian I'm afraid, they don't drink the real stuff there)
Its actually an investment, she has a 3 hour stopover at Sydney Airport on the way back, just enough time to get my present.
By the way a great present for a guy (I got one for Christmas) is a Tiffany Money clip, very simple and smart.

I win: I got my wife a guitar stand and a brand new capo. Needless to say, she loved them both.
Seriously.

I sent her an eCard. Plan to visit our local Apple Store. Have dinner at the mall, they are offering a special Valentine's Day meal.

Valentine's Day went quite nice - we ended up getting take-out sushi and eating on the floor with some candles and good music. It was a very romantic evening, and I hope we can do that more often in the future.
