I have been seeking everywhere for a black video iPod dock. I figured someone would have created this by now, maybe I just cannot find it. Anyone seen one (not looking for anything but a basic dock for my desk next to my computer in black.

Thanks in advance,

Sean

if your adventerous you could try masking off the part where the pod sits with tape, along with the sensor in the front, then try spray painting it with some glossy type stuff. I dont know how well that will turn out though, just throwing the idea out there.

if you're willing to pay the premium price, you can order a custom-colored iPod dock from these guys:

If you do, don't forget to post your thoughts!

Oooo I'd love to see a spray paint job! That'd be cool.

I totally should have gotten an orange iPod...

Anyone have any experience with iJet. They state that there product works with all iPods although I think this may be old info (prior to 5G).

Colorware is too expensive, and I'm not looking for something with a remote, just a basic dock for my computer area.

I like Griffin's new offering of the Tune Center to put ith my Hi-Fi once it comes out.

Here's a pretty cool one that I saw at Fry's. It comes in black but the page (and others I tried to find) only showed it in white. I have seen the black one in the box and can confirm that it does, indeed, exist.

Pretty handy little dock, I must say. Considering getting one myself.

Ooh... found it in black (in person it looks better and is "jet" black and not grey as in the photo):

To dislike Sinatra is a sign of highly questionable taste. To dislike the Beatles is a serious character flaw.

As I work at Fry's (the one in burbank) I'll keep an eye out for the black model of the one you're linking to, and see if I can find it.
