This is one of those 'what?' situations.
I reinstalled 10.3 and upgraded to 10.3.2 on my G4/733. Virex 7.2 says I don't have an update since November 2002 (?) and then pops up an error message when it goes to install the latest update.
"There is not enough hard disk space to download and install this eUpdate."
My hard drive has 55GB free.
Any ideas on what to do and how to fix this?
Thnanks.

maybe it is trying to install somewhere without permission and the app thinks since it can't write the update, there must not be enough room
Try resetting your permissions.

Maybe Virex's installer is using a 32-bit integer to store your free space, causing any number larger than 4 GB to get chopped off.

Fix: Your machine has been infected by a virus. Download the update to Virex and install. Virex will then eliminate the virus from your computer.
...wait... that is the Windows answer.... never-mind.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
