Good lord it's a pain trying to find information on this.

There must be a small cheap camera out there that I can also plug into my mac using USB or firewire and use as a webcam?!

Why would I want to buy two cameras?

In an ideal world my new camera would...

Be able to record short video clips
Fit in my pocket
Take pretty good pictures
Plug into my mac mini and allow me to use, yahoo messenger, Skype video and iChat, and also record video directly to the HD
Cost around £160

Since I've never owned a digital camera of any kind, I don't really understand how it works what protocols/file formats are available, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

pea
