Well, I'm pretty sure that Umax will never release any scanner drivers for OS X. Have you checked to see if it's supported by VueScan? I have an Astra 6400 that is supported by VueScan...it's a pretty good app. You can take a look at vuescan @ http://www.hamrick.com
