Now that we are almost here, I would think that alot of developers are prepareing for same day release of test apps. Can anyone share any knowledge of such apps if known ?
Lots of new stuff to tinker with

no, but currently no haxies or customization apps work, nor dockextender or multidock setting apps. lots of apps have trouble working, such as WMP, VPC, B;ueJ (java app), candybar, adium etc...
i'm sure a wave will come out though.

No. There are no developers at all that have any Tiger apps in the works. From the day Tiger is released, there will never be another single app written for OS X. </sarcasm>

Not sure where you get your info but you;d better check it again.
Haxies - Most work, Shapeshifter is the big one that doesn't
WMP - Works (About as well as it ever did)
VPC - Works for me.
Java has some problems.
not too sure about CandyBar.
Adium works just fine (or at least the betas do)

I'm half-assedly working on, and I know the Bibdesk is too, a Tiger-savvy PDF/bibliographic app.
The rough idea is:
* uses CoreData to make managing the bibliographic data easy from my end.
* uses PDFKit, so you can search, read, and mark up PDFs of articles.
- one way this works is: your receive a PDF. Highlight the title, click a button: you've imported the title metadata. Highlight the authors, click another button: you've imported the author metadata. Now the app can access Pubmed and instantly get the authoritative citation for this PDF.
* uses WebKit in a similar way to iPapers, so you can start from a citation, and quickly download and import the fulltext PDF of the corresponding article.
And all your bibliographic metadata will be Spotlight-searchable, of course.
...and of course, right now this wonderful app consists of a CoreData model, some Interface Builder mockups, and about eight lines of code. But if I don't write it, somebody will!

Sounds like that update is going to be rather big, a ton of new fixes/enhancements!

There are the beta releases if you want to test drive now, development is wrapping up quite nicely.

Mainly it will feature everything that has been requested in the classic version of the app for some time, although the actual feature set is still under wraps.
I'm mainly looking forward to being able to browse the music sub menu without having to launch iTunes first, and much greater customisation over the floater appearance. If you already own a license (as I do) the upgrade is only 7, which is a complete bargain

Adium does NOT work fine. The HTML rendering of message views doesn't happen at all. For some reason adium can't access any part of webkit, those guys don't have access to adc so we'll have to wait a few days.

Everyone at Delicious Monster has been hard at work for the past several months on Delicious Library 1.5, a free upgrade that will be made available on April 29th. For the new version we've focused in three major areas Tiger support, internationalization, and bug fixes.
Mac OS X Tiger is right around the corner and Delicious Library 1.5 has been optimized to run flawlessly with it. We've also added new features to take advantage of the many new exciting Tiger technologies including Spotlight and Dashboard.
If you live outside of the United States or do not speak English, you have not been forgotten. Delicious Library 1.5 has been translated into five new languages and is now able to natively import items from around the world.
Delicious Library users have been very helpful tracking down bugs and sending in bug reports. We have been taking these reports very seriously: reading each one, prioritizing them, and fixing the top issues one by one. With Delicious Library 1.5, we've fixed dozens and dozens of these bugs and continued to improve performance.
Delicious Library 1.5 will be available on April 29th and will be a completely free upgrade. We think everyone is going to really love it.
So a software upgrade WITH a Dashboard widget to go along with it. Very very cool.
