It depends on how your messages sorted in the table. For me, my newest messages are at the bottom of the view, so when I delete one, the next one down pops up.
I used to be able to have Mail.app place its focus on the very latest unread message upon startup. Now it has focus on the last read message. Anyway to fix this? Also when I delete a message I would like it to go to the next unread message like in Thunderbird, instead of the last read message. Thanks
