A bag.

Admittedly, it's a pistol bag, but still...

If what they're trying to tell me is they sell ammo on Amazon, they couldn't have picked a better way.

Amazon's response:

Hello,

I am sorry to know that the bag came with the ammunition. I apologize for this mistake.

It was an exceptional mistake from our side so I've forwarded this issue to our concerned department, they are working on this issue and they'll take strong actions so that it won't be repeated in future.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Seeing me? You take one step on my property and it's BLAM!

Sweet! 5.7x28 ammo is really hard to find right now. Did they send you the mag too?

Just that caddy thing they're in.

That's why I say go with a 9. You can still get that at the 7-11.

They once sent me an unsolicited box with a new DeWalt circular saw and a vacuum food sealer. I let them retrieve it, since I had no use for either.

How many rounds did they send you?
Was the bag sold by Amazon itself, or through one of their partners?

What the tip, which is made out of plastic, is for, is to make the bullet fly like a pointy bullet, but impact like a flat-nose bullet.

This is for civilians, so they don't have a version which can punch through Kevlar. Pointy is better at piercing armor.

What it means is it's got a a touch more powder in it than the red tip ones. The main varieties are the red tip and blue tip.

I was thinking Five-seven. The bend in the magazine threw me. What's holding the ammo is in fact a 50 round P90 magazine.

I'll be real surprised if you don't get a friendly letter from Amazon legal, requesting you send the bullets back...Oh, and, when we get them, have a $100 credit on us!

They better hurry, I'm hiking it over to the cops.

I'll leave names out of it though. No reason to bust the big A.

I once got a package with everything I ordered. The packing slip, however, was a list of sex toys for someone across the country.

Strange that they'd send 10 rounds in a 50 round mag. I mean, either send the ammo or the mag, or the mag full up with ammo.

My guess is someone else bought the bag, put their P90 shit in it, didn't like it, and then returned it, but forgot to take out the mag.

What's the going rate? It's $35 via mail order.

Could somebody explain to me what's going on?

You can apparently order ammunition via mail order, but when Amazon mistakenly sends you some, it's a felony? What am I not getting here?

Amazon isn't licensed, and the bag was probably on a plane at some point too.

You know, this may be a "civilian" mag. The springs start at the 20 mark, and are fully compressed by the 10 loaded rounds.

Ah, okay. I had no idea you needed to be a licensed dealer. Shirley there must be protests against this curtailing of freedom?

Also, do the same flight restrictions even apply to freight planes?

I'm assuming you need a license to do mail-order ammo.

As for explosives on a plane, the great felonious equalizer here is they were undeclared.

You don't that I'm aware of. Anyone can mail ammo. Ammunition is not a regulated product, other than on how you ship it. It cannot be sent USPS and if shipped through UPS, must be shipped ground and clearly marked on the outside with an ORM-D label. Also, has to be dropped off at an official UPS Customer Center, not somewhere like Mail Boxes, Etc., UPS Store, etc.

That is a P90 magazine. Which leads me to wonder if the bag you got with the "extra stuff" was actually new. I kind of looks like Amazon needs to have a long talk with some of their "partners" about getting the right thing - and only the right thing - to the customer.

The blue plastic tip helps with feeding too, I'm told. That's a 40 grain "Vmax" bullet, and the round is classified as a "sporting" round. Like all other P90/FN FiveSeven rounds available to civilians, this round is anything but "armor piercing." It just shouldn't have been in your package.
