I'm demoing XFree86 through OroborOSX for my local MUG and was wondering if there were any cool apps I could demo.

The astronomical program XEphem - available from Fink or OSXGNU - is rather cool looking (if you and your audience are interested in scientific apps, of course)...



A more conventional, but quite interesting and very easily installable app is AbiWord...



There are many other choices, of course...
