So, yesterday all of a sudden my 4 started acting strange while in call mode. Speaker phone on, off, on, off. A couple dropped called in an area with very good coverage. By lunch I could no longer hear a caller other than to put them on speaker. Everything else was fine.
Did a complete restore from a 6-3-11 Backup. No change.
Genius Bar at 3pm. Looked at phone, did a restore, stated the ear speaker was functional. Issues continued. Went in back for 20 min came out with replacement phone. Said they could not diagnose why it was only in phone mode.
Phone replace, restored at home with 6-3-11 backup no issues since.
Any ideas? It was not the Proximity Sensor. I always like to know the issue with a failure.
