TV's Buck Rogers, Gil Gerard, has shed 140 pounds after undergoing gastric-bypass surgery. The heavyweight former TV hunk weighed in at a whopping 350 pounds when doctors told him he was morbidly obese - and they suggested surgery to help him lose weight fast.
I wonder what Twiki would say?

Best part of that show was Wilma Deering.

They covered the subject on Discovery Health earlier this week. You could just barely recognize him thru the pudge! He had some risk factors like diabites, heart murmers etc. his voice sounded exactly the same though.

I suppose you could consider the show to be a metaphor for him have his fat surgically removed. In that case, it was a completely accurate prediction of the future! Amazing!

I once had my picture taken with Twiki at a custom van show in Saginaw. I'll bet my parents still have the picture somewhere.

My dad had his picture taken with a playboy playmate.

Erin Grey is HOT.... although the original Wilma would've been even hotter IMO.... forgot her name.. but she played Dabney Colman's assistant in Wargames. I'm sure someone will look it up in IMDB.

I used to also think Gil looked like Lee Majors... guess you won't mistake them anymore....

Homegirl's hot up there in those jean shorts.

Unfortunately, I've not seen an older woman that was as hot as she was when she was younger.

They need to get on that.

Dudes marinate. Then become Magnum P.I.

This thread is about Buck Rogers, and I don't know much about that guy. I remember watching some of his adventures during my early days though.

Vans with murals, beds, whirlpools, sparkly paint, and bubble windows were all I knew growing up. We'd go to a show every month. There were lots of "draws" like Wiki and playmates. There were ALWAYS playmates.

Oh, and there was always lots of 70's hair music playing at every show.

Jane Seymour. She's reasonably scorching for an older chick.

I know it said Buck Rogers, but my brain read Flash Gordon. Buster Crabbe. Must be a senior moment.
