Hello,
My iMac copy of iPhoto is incredible slow. It will revert to a beachball for the easiest of commands (opening an event) and continue in this fashion for the duration. Is this a permissions problem? Anything I can do to speed up this program. I also have it on my new macbook pro and it is flawless there.
All ideas would be helpful.
Harvey

Quit iPhoto then restart it holding down command-option. Here you have a number of rebuild and repair options. Try them out and see if one of them fixes the problem.
