Noorart for childish fun.

.. learn and reinforce and repeat,
learn and reinforce...

http://www.noorart.com/gifts-for-girls.shtml

http://www.noorart.com/product153.html
This creative game is a fun and educational way to learn and reinforce knowledge of Islam. Made in the style of a traditional "bingo game" it includes enough materials for a classroom or large family. Children learn both Arabic and English terms for basic Islamic principles and Islamic history. Great for Islamic schools and fun for the whole family.
An interesting play on words, too. "Know Islam, Know Peace" can produce some thought provoking ideas if thought of as "No Islam, No Peace". Try it out on your kids!

I lived in a predominantly Muslim neighbourhood in London for ages. My girlfriend and I were one of the very few white people living on our entire street. Never had any trouble whatsoever.

But, in regards to the book above, pretty much all of the local girls used to leave the house all dressed up. As soon as they were on the bus to school off came the scarves, on came the lipstick.

What is the point of this thread?

So you quote a game that teaches religious information... and post a photo.

Are you trying to say something about the religion?, because I can't read your mind.

1 WHY DO THE HEATHEN RAGE AND THE PEOPLE IMAGINE A VAIN THING?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Events in the Bible prove the sinful nature of man.

Hence the reason for a Christ.

No sin, no need Christ.

Sin equates a need for Christ.

IIRC, from my days of reading the Bible, sins are defined by God (or Christ if you're a Christian). Wouldn't you need him to define sins for you (i.e. reading the Bible and following his word)?

Or do you mean that you're generally a "good" person, where "good" is defined by the society in which you live in?

I'm not a sinner even by Biblical standards. Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone against me.

Most of the Bible lies about the past, is that a sin? So by it's standards I haven't.

Jehovah Jehovah Jehovah!

I'll quote for you a passage of the Bible which you don't believe.

1 John 1:8-10

8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

Only one man was without sin, and they crucified Him.

So nice of you.

I am not a "quote machine". I was just pointing out the flaw in your earlier comment from a Christian perspective. It appears to make you hostile. Why is that?

Actually, it looks like you are the one following the Christians around.

Why are you so offensive towards the followers of a peaceful religion?

Look up the definition of "appear". And I am not talking about "to seem or look to be". That is only part of the meaning of "appear".

It would appear you're showing your ignorance of the English language.

You'd hate to be thought of as ignorant wouldn't you?

Why are you so hostile in general?

BACK ON TOPIC:

This game is probably a allah-send for the Muslims. No pun intended. Seriously, If a person who wants to teach their children about their religion uses a game to accomplish this, more power to them.

Religion doesn't have to be a boring worship service you go to once a week. Worship can be fun and enjoyable.

There is even evidence in the bible that the marriage bed is a form of worship to God.

Just ask the anti-religious people who start the threads to stop and 90% of them will go away!!!

The reason most of us religious-types respond is it is hard to sit back and let someone bash your belief system.

If someone attacked something you believed with your whole heart wouldn't you be defensive?

Mas, while I agree with you, don't you think it's a bit pointless to post? People aren't going to change their beliefs, and so you might as well just let them believe whatever they like. The only way to put an end to these threads is not to reply to them.
