Actually, no. I stumbled... STUMBLED on a documentary on TV a few nights back. Showed a funny little kid in a funny little hat performing at Java Joes. I paused. I listened. I liked VERY much. So I jogged off to his website to download the 5 freebies he's got there. I'm loving it. Wife will beat me silly if I go buy any CDs, though, so I'm stuck til I get a green light.
You're right, though- VERY talented kid. Love the lyrical quality and the fact that he relies on... next to nothing. His own voice, his sparse band, his guitar. Good honest music.

NIN- The Fragil (Right). Yes, the whole thing, because it is my first time and Phil told me I HADHADHAD to listen to it straight through, no skipping. Well, so far I am liking it (although I cannot see where it should induce any actual skipping on my part... NIN is not skip and frolic music).
I like it so far. Not as Burroughs like ugly or vengeful as I would have thought.
More Hamlet than Heironimo.

That's pretty funny, but it's definitely not Weird Al. If anyone hears any parody of any song on the internet, they assume it was done by him (even if it sounds nothing like him) and label it as such. Do a search for Weird Al on any file sharing network, and over half the hits you get will be for songs that he didn't do.

Ugh I hate Weird AL beyond belief. He is so lame...
Back to the topic, I am sifting through my fiesta acquisitions, and actually listening to the new Benny Benassi release, Hypnotica. Its electronic, so you would probably only get to hear it in a commerial sadly.
