Calepeeples, In your screenshot of your desktop, where do the desktop icons come from? I don't recall ever seeing the folder and file icons before.

These icons are in progress...

I had them on the desktop to test out different shadow patterns.

Here's a compiled sample:

I normally just use them for client work, but since you're interested, I can try and finish them and post the .icns resources.

Not this weekend though, I'll be in Vegas and most likely drunk

This is IMO the first halfway-decent screenshot I've posted here, so let me know whatchyall think.

Theme | Greytium

TotalGreytium

The desktop background is "d-industries" - which came with the Latium 2 guiKit - it's gray-scaled to maximize the 'Greytium-ness'.

Interesting. I hope you have the dock magnify on, cuz I'd go blind trying to figure out where things are with a dock that small. And I have perfect vision.

Thanks afphreak01! This will be put to good use. And can some one answear me why modified OSX guis are always so much more attractive than modified wintel guis? Even wintels that look almost exactly like OSX seem pretty shoddy in comparison.

NICE! I think I could actually use those as a replacement for the normal OS X folder icons.

Inform us when you are finished.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy Latium in general. Definetely one of my few all time favorites - I'll be using that setup I posted for personal use for a good long while.

Greytium's neutrality makes it excellent for work involving GUI customization, as well as all-around computing. OAON, it would be interesting to see Greytium with divided menus.

Chris Landreth is the creator of bingo. Not sure what happened to his website, but you can catch him over on Alias' site, or cgtalk.

I guess it comes down to the person behind the screen. It's individual. Some, like cmove, wants to have nothing on their desktop. And others, like me, wants to be "covered" so to speak. And have all these nifty small independent widgets.

I buy all the apps I like from the get-go, and Konfabulator was/is one of them. Some, like Stattoo, I regret having bought. LOL.

$25 is not much considering endless(maybe) free updates.

Knowledge of JScript and actually being able to utilize what Konfabulators' engine does/can do makes $25 seem puny.
