Hey Guys,

I love Safari and have been using it regularly after I was on FireFox and OmniWeb. the problem I'm having is this. On the Monster website (http://jobsearch.monster.com/), after entering a Key Word to describe the job, I can't seem to select or click on a choice in the "Choose Location" and "Choose Job Category" using Safari 1.2.4 (and even the earlier versions).

Can someone test this page out and let me know if they are having the same issue on Safari 1.2.x? Also, those of you developers using Tiger, can you also run this test on Safari 2.0 and let me know as well? Thanks.

It's been driving me nuts! Btw, I have sent in a bug report to Apple.

***BOTH FireFox 1.0.2 and Camino 0.8.3 (the latest versions) allow me to select, But OmniWeb 5.1 has the same problem as Safari. Is this because it uses the same rendering engine?

I have this same problem! It's so annoying! But it's not just that website, it's every list like that. I have PithHelmet 2.2 and SafariSource installed, but I'm not really sure if that's part of the problem if OmniWeb does it, too.

I did a fresh install on another machine and was so happy that it didn't do it, too. But, after re-installing my usual apps, it started doing it, too. Maybe it's a haxie? I have a couple ideas but I've never gone out of my way to thoroughly test it...

Edit: Found this thread, sounds like the same problem. I do use TinkerTool on both my machines to change the fonts...

SS3 GokouX: I do have haxies installed and run things like Silk. And I can see that it might affect Safari. BUT, I have this same exact issue in OmniWeb. I have disabled the haxies but it still doesn't work. I'm guessing it's some sort of rendering problem with Safari and since OW uses the Safari rendering engine too, it is also affected.

I don't use Silk, just TinkerTool, and it still happens. It must be a Safari bug.

Oh my god, I can't test it on this windows machine but I cannot wait. Finally I can register for classes without switching to Firefox. Thank you Dave + Safari team!
