I bought one Yesterday after years of procrastinating on getting a new car. I have to admit, this car is much better then my expectations. And my expectations where pretty high to begin with so its a nice surprise. Traditionally I've always been a Honda boy but the last few years the Honda's have seemed more like the domestics of the past in both design and build quality. I can see why Ford has been doing well, they have actually retooled the cars to something nice instead of feeling cheap.
The Build Quality is good. The options are real good and the technology advances in the car are great. I had actually been waiting a couple years for this model to hit North America because this is the first year they have released the European Version of the car here.

I'm just about to sell mine. Hate the thing (it's a backup car and I don't use it much at all, but when I do I feel like a monkey on a mangle).

What don't you like about it. So far my 2 biggest complaints relate to the location of the ignition, its bloody hard to get the key in and the lack of a USB port on the dash itself for my iPhone. I use it for GPS so its up on the dash not in the box where the USB port is now.

I'm hesitant to buy a car that runs Microsoft WIndows.

It's not "wafty" enough for my tastes - just too small for me.
Good little car if that's what you're into though.

When I bought my car, I was waiting for such a long time. I knew I wanted a Mazda3, but it was just a little out of my price range. I waited, and an amazing opportunity came that I could not pass up.
Original MSRP of my model is $17,000 standard. I saw an ad in the newspaper that offered the car for $13,995 with 0% interest for 60 months. Not only was that deal good, but it came with a free iPad. How could that get any sweeter?

Congrats! I've been eyeing these, and meaning to go drive one. The wife and I have been trying to start a family, and if we're successful, one of the Minis will have to go. The hatch looks like it would fit the bill nicely if we end up needing a little more room.

I've been in two Ford cars with MS Sync (Taurus and Escape) and what a miserable system it is.

I don't like the front end of the standard car, split up into different grilles and the bonnet above the ford badge just looks like a really bad panel gap.
The single big grille look of the ST and EV/Hybrid cars look a lot better.
The rear lights are just wrong though, a Focus should have its lights high up either side of the rear window like this...
not like this, it looks like a bad Korean car...

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

I thought the same thing until I saw the ST in person, and it just looks like it has a mentalist's grin. Which is fine, because it's a mental car.

IT IS! but im learning to live with it. I would have prefered that it passed the commands to the iphones voice control system.
